listener.ora

The “listerner.ora” file contains server side network configuration parameters. It can be found in the “$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin” directory on the server.

Below is the default listener configuration:

lsnrctl commands

Whenever you make changes to the listener.ora file, you must reload the listener. You can even stop and start the listener using lsnrctl utility:

$ lsnrctl stop
$ lsnrctl start
